Anniversary Ornament

Last year, my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, and my hubby bought me a beautiful bouquet of roses.

I wanted to save them and do something special with them. I had seen some beautiful ornaments on Pinterest with photos and ribbons in them, and decided to dry my flowers and keep the ribbons to make one.

I also gathered miscellaneous ribbons, decorative confetti, netting, and created a small collage in PicMonkey with a picture from our wedding, and one we had taken on the day of our 25th.

When I had trouble placing or moving things around inside the bulb, I used a wooden skewer to get things where I wanted them.

When I was satisfied with it, I put the “lid” on, and then tied some of the ribbon from my bouquet around the hook.

This could make a pretty and easy bridal shower, wedding, or anniversary gift for someone as well!
You could also make one with baby items, like flowers given at their birth, baby’s hospital bracelet and name tag…
